MelissaAs soon as I walked into Akoranga Preschool I knew it was the right place for our daughter. The environment is fresh, warm and clean and the teachers are all friendly, caring and easy to talk to. Olivia was 6 months old when she started at Akoranga and Jo went out of her way to listen to our needs as a family and make sure we were happy with her care. She also respected our opinions and desires for Olivia's learning. This made my transition back to work easy as I knew she was in a loving and caring environment. Jo is very adaptable, and nothing is ever a problem. For a couple of months Olivia refused to take a bottle and Jo was more than accommodating in letting me come in and fed her when required.The teachers empower Olivia to make her own decisions about her learning and create a safe place for her to do this. I am in awe of all of the creative activities the teachers come up with to further Olivia’s learning. I am so grateful to Jo and her wonderful team for the amazing job they do. If you are thinking about childcare options, I would suggest you give Jo a call as I can guarantee you won’t be disappointed. |
